The ACLU of Kentucky, in cooperation with our coalition partners in the Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, are bringing death row exoneree Sabrina Butler Porter back to the commonwealth to share her story of wrongful conviction and exoneration from death row.
Ms. Porter was convicted as a teenager in Mississippi for the death of her infant son. It was later discovered he died from a kidney disease. Ms. Porter is the only woman in the United States exonerated from death row.
