Volunteering during the Kentucky General Assembly:
The Kentucky General Assembly is made up of the Senate and House of Representatives. Lawmakers work for set period of time each year. Learn more about how laws are made in Kentucky and what the ACLU of Kentucky team works on in Frankfort here.
During session, contacting lawmakers is one of the best ways to make your voice heard in Frankfort. Scroll down to message your lawmakers about the issues most important to you. Each issue already has a draft email ready to go, and you can personalize the message. All you need to do is enter your address so we can send your messages to the right lawmakers.
