Give Local Louisville is on Tuesday, May 6! To kick off its celebration of thirty years, the Community Foundation of Louisville is hosting this “Give Day” to support 170+ local organizations, including the ACLU of Kentucky, doing great work right in our own backyard. The goal is simple – raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits. For one day only, every dollar donated will be augmented through stretch dollars contributed by the Community Foundation of Louisville and its supporting sponsors LG&E, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Churchill Downs and other national partners. While on-line credit card giving will take place from midnight to midnight on May 6 at givelocallouisville.org, donors who wish to use their Donor Advised Fund or Charitable Checking Fund may do so by submitting a grant request through the Community Foundation of Louisville no later than 3:00 p.m. on May 2.
