Congressman John Yarmuth and our panel will discuss immigration issues and its impact on our community and nation. Following the Obama Administration directive granting folks who'd be eligible for the DREAM Act a reprieve from deportation and work-authorization papers, the U.S. Senate passed a Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill, which is currently tabled by House Speaker John Boehner. Meanwhile, issues about citizenship, deportation, border security, etc., continue to concern voters.

The University of Louisville/Yearlings Club Community Forum Series brings university faculty, community leaders and the African American community together to discuss important issues. Currently in its eleventh year, this exciting partnership provides a forum to discuss important community issues. The Forum Series is free and open to the public. Light refreshments served.
