No person should be forced to choose between keeping their job and caring for their children. Paid family leave would allow Kentucky workers up to 12 weeks of paid family leave per year for the birth of a child or to care for a family member.
Join the ACLU of Kentucky for our Paid Leave Access Lobby Day! You will have the opportunity to talk to your legislators about why paid family leave is important to you, attend committee meetings, and get a sense of what happens during the legislative session.
We will provide:
- talking points,
- an agenda for the day,
- and support in talking with legislators. (An ACLU-KY staff member will be in every legislator meeting).
We will meet in the cafeteria of the Capitol annex at 9AM to review the agenda, go over talking points, and answer any questions you may have. Sign up below for more information.
