LGBT Pride Event: "Love songs and other fairy tales"

June 11, 2016 @ 7:00 pm
June 12, 2016 @ 8:45 pm

VOICES of Kentuckiana and Pandora Productions are proud to present their first collaboration: “Love Songs & Other Fairy Tales,” a cabaret-style show at Play Louisville on Saturday, June 11 at 7pm.

Audiences will enjoy a variety of love songs from the Broadway repertoire, ranging from the sweet and mushy ballads to the bitter, biting numbers that we can all appreciate, in a cabaret setting that is hard to find in Louisville. Tap your toes to the sassy beat of, “Everybody Ought to Have a Maid,” from A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, or snuggle with your honey to, “So in Love,” from KISS ME, KATE. Funny numbers like “Adelaide’s Lament” from GUYS AND DOLLS will have you grooving in your chair, and we guarantee you’ll be whistling “It’s Too Darn Hot,” from KISS ME, KATE for days to come!

Kick back in this intimate, relaxed atmosphere and enjoy your favorite Broadway tunes featuring VOICES of Kentuckiana members Brittany Blau, Russ Dunlap, Kimberly Magoon, Michael Purintun, and Anna Rucker, along with Pandora Productions players, sharing the stage for the first time.

Reserved table seats are only $25 with general seating at $15. Order your tickets in advance! Only 135 tickets will be sold to this unique event.
