The American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky will follow all pandemic safety precautions required by the event venue, Brew and Sip Coffee Bar. The ACLU of Kentucky will also follow public health guidance from local, state, and federal officials at all events hosted or co-hosted by the ACLU of Kentucky. Because public health guidance may change, specific information about pandemic-related safety precautions for in-person events hosted by the ACLU of Kentucky will be added to this event page and to event listings at ACLU-KY.org/Events within 3 days of an event. In-person events are subject to change as public health guidance adapts to evolving pandemic conditions.
Breaking Barriers is our new series of discussions about the issues facing Kentucky families. We'll engage community groups, advocates, and policymakers to see how we can all work together to ensure every Kentuckian can make the best decisions for themselves. These forums are meant to be an open space where Kentuckians from around the commonwealth can speak openly about topics ranging from systemic racial disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes to protecting individual freedoms like the right to access abortion care.
