The ACLU of K is excited to announce a statewide Youth Rights Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville. This one-day conference is being planned by and for high school students to help empower this generation of civil libertarians to take action. The program will include workshops on a variety of topics, such as: * Freedom of Speech and Expression * Religious Freedom * Drug Testing * Right to Protest * Dress Codes * Zero Tolerance Policies * Discrimination in Schools * “Street Law” * Reproductive Freedom * LGBT Issues * Activism 101 We invite high school students and young people age 18 or under from across Kentucky to join us for this exciting day of action.
