AN ACT relating to juvenile justice. Amend KRS 17.500, 17.510, 17.520, 610.320 and 610.340 to place juvenile sex offenders on the state's sex offender registry; amend KRS 610.265 to require that juvenile felony sex offenders released into nonsecure settings prior to adjudication be housed in a county different from that where the victim of the offense resides; and amend KRS 635.515 to require that juveniles who commit sex offenses which would qualify as violent offenses under KRS 439.3401 spend at least one year of treatment in a secure facility.
