LOUISVILLE – The American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky filed a lawsuit in federal court today to protect the religious freedom of a graduating senior from Russell County High School who objects to the prayer planned for his graduation ceremony this Friday.

ACLU of KY Says State would be in Contempt for Ten Commandments Monument at Capitol

FRANKFORT – The American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky filed papers in federal court today arguing that state officials should be held in contempt if they move forward with plans to place a Ten Commandments monument on state Capitol grounds as directed by the 2006 Kentucky General Assembly.
